Isaac Regional Council have just completed the installation of an Advanced Enviro-Septic to better protect the beautiful natural environment of Lake Elphinstone and its surrounds.
The Elphinstone is a beautiful natural asset that provides locals and visitors alike with a wonderful wilderness experience. The system has been installed to service the camping ground, which can experience high variations in seasonal loads.
The remote location and the need to achieve advanced secondary quality treatment and reliable operation was an important factor in adopting the Advanced Enviro-Septic solution.
This is the second project completed by the Council. Approximately 2 years ago another Advanced Enviro-Septic was installed to service a small caravan park and public facility in Moranbah.
