Gympie Regional Council needed a solution for the disposal of effluent from the Woolooga Community hall. The hall is located on a steep site that slopes from the footpath to a watercourse directly behind the hall. With no suitable land application area available behind the hall, a design was prepared whereby the effluent is pumped under the main street to the community tennis court. Soil testing proved suitable for an AES. The unique ability of the AES to be installed under impervious surfaces with remote venting allowed a section of existing tennis court to be cut out and the AES
System bed installed and the court reinstated.
